This talk is intended to provide a practical approach for the clinician in North Central London to manage the dizzy patient in the acute and chronic phases.
This talk will provide an overview of the common causes of acute vertigo in primary and community care. There will be discussion on 'red flags' in acute vertigo, and how to differentiate between benign inner ear and potentially sinister causes. The pathway for acute vertigo in primary care will be discussed. There will be an opportunity to discuss common myths, pitfalls, and pearls for acute vertigo.
