NCL PQS - Education session on reviewing adult patients on ONS

This session is intended for any HCP involved in reviewing patients for nutrition support e.g., GPs, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians etc.

As part of the North Central London Prescribing Quality Scheme (NCL PQS), the Islington Medicines Management Dietitian will provide a short education session covering:

• What to consider before prescribing oral nutritional supplements (ONS) for a patient

• An overview of the new Standard operating procedure (SOP) for reviewing prescriptions for adult ONS in primary care

There is an expectation that at least one prescriber from the practice attends/undertakes training session as per PQS Operational Guidance.
