An afternoon well spent at this year’s 10th Careers Fair

The 10th NCL Careers Fair brought together educators and professionals from across the health and care sector for an inspiring and engaging afternoon at Middlesex University. Designed to help students explore the wide range of career pathways available to them, the event also created valuable opportunities for conversation, learning and networking amongst colleagues.

This year’s event exceeded both our expectations and those of our partners at Middlesex University, with strong engagement from students and exhibitors throughout the afternoon.

We were delighted to welcome more than 70 exhibitors who generously gave their time to attend. They represented a wide range of professions and organisations, speaking with students about their career journeys, answering questions, offering guidance and sharing valuable insights into the many pathways available within health and social care.

The afternoon also featured a panel discussion. Panel speakers shared their experiences working across the academic, health and social care sectors. Their discussion offered honest reflections on their career paths, along with practical advice and encouragement for students exploring their future options.

Planning for the fair began late last year, with the team at NCL Training Hub working closely with colleagues at Middlesex University to bring the event together. A huge thank you to both teams and the student ambassadors whose dedication and support helped make the event such a success.
