Opportunity: GP needed to champion Whzan digital tool

North Central London Training Hub (hosted by Haringey GP Group Ltd) is looking for a GP champion to support the implementation of the digital tool Whzan across NCL.

Whzan supports remote monitoring of care home residents by allowing care staff to take observations such as blood pressure, weight, heart rate, oxygen saturation and temperature, in addition to generating a NEWS2 score for the patient. Readings can be accessed by clinicians and used to support clinical decision making in consultations.

In this position, the GP champion would work alongside the clinical lead to:

·       promote the use of Whzan among GPs and other clinicians in NCL

·       demonstrate to others how they use Whzan in practice

·       identify local opportunities for when Whzan data could be used

·       input to the development of local clinical pathways for remote monitoring

·       share information between the NCL digital care homes team and GPs.

The post holder will work flexibly one session per month for six months from October 2022.

This role provides a great opportunity for any GP looking to start or further develop their portfolio career.
