NCL Primary Care Learning Needs Analysis
NCL Training Hub are pleased to invite you to participate in the Primary Care Learning Need Analysis (LNA) survey. The survey has been developed for all clinical and non-clinical staff. The results of this survey will enable NCL Training Hub and system partners to understand the education and training needs of individuals across the primary care workforce in NCL.

NCL Physician Associate Celebration
The NCL Physician Associate celebration event, organised by NCL PA ambassador Chaima Hale, was a fantastic success, bringing together over 70 Physician Associates (PAs) from across North Central London last Wednesday at the Royal Free Hospital.
SGLT-2 Inhibitors in Chronic Kidney Disease
NCL ICB are commissioning a program of work from January 2025 to March 2026, to review patients with CKD stages G3a-G5 who could be prescribed an SGLT2 inhibitor, but who are not currently prescribed the medication. This intervention will be beneficial to the patient’s health and self-management of their condition.
National Workforce Reporting Service - Further Help & Support
Monthly GP practice and PCN data is extracted from the NWRS for the preparation of workforce statistics at the end of January.
HIV Testing Week: 10 - 16 February 2025
GPs are a crucial part of the England’s HIV testing infrastructure, with over 139,000 tests carried out in primary care in 2023. However, 41% of people are still diagnosed at a late stage of infection, and an estimated 4,700 people in England are living with undiagnosed HIV. National HIV Testing Week aims to promote regular HIV testing.
