Age Well Programme
Haringey and Enfield Training Hubs have launched an Age Well Training Programme Pilot.
The Pilot aims to increase awareness about ageing well, what issues people might face as they get older, and what support is locally available across Enfield and Haringey to help residents to age well.
The programme's key aims:
To bring together local and national resources, and develop new local resources where needed for Haringey and Enfield to become age-friendly boroughs.
Increase general awareness of the age well issues in the local communities, including specific issues from underserved groups by working with local groups and voluntary sector organisations.
Increase existing knowledge of age well issues, including what local services and support are available in the boroughs.
To develop and deliver a training programme that focuses on age-well topics and supports Haringey and Enfield professionals and senior leaders to improve their knowledge and the support they provide to older patients/clients.
Develop a Pledge for organisations and businesses in Haringey and Enfield to commit and support the 50+ population in their local areas.
There are three areas to the Pilot in which you can participate: Age Well Friend, Age Well Champion, and Age Well Experts. To learn more about each of the workstreams of this Pilot please click on the boxes below.
