Legacy Nurse Mentors
North Central London Training Hub is running a programme looking for Nurses in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington who would be interested in becoming a Legacy Nurse Mentor.
Legacy Nurse Mentors are experienced nurses who provide mentoring to our primary care nursing team workforce.
Appointing legacy mentors ensures that we do not lose the valuable experience of colleagues in late career through retirement and provides a rewarding opportunity which celebrates our experienced colleague’s contribution to primary care.
A Legacy Nurse Mentor will mentor clinicians who want to deepen their knowledge in a particular clinical area such as Diabetes, Women’s health, Respiratory etc by supporting learners when seeing patients within the relevant clinical area. Mentors would also have the opportunity to deliver group CPD sessions, sharing knowledge with a broader audience.
