What is the course aim?
To examine contemporary issues in independent prescribing in general practice.
What will the course content cover?
Current national guidelines
Remote prescribing
Auditing practice
Transfer of care (medication initiated in secondary care).
Who should attend this course?
The course has been designed specifically for Non-medical prescribers working in general practice.
How will the course be delivered?
The course will be delivered online via Microsoft teams, by experienced teachers who have specialist knowledge of prescribing.
A variety of interactive approaches will be used to facilitate peer learning and networking with colleagues. At the end of the course you will be provided with a certificate that can be used as evidence to support you in your preparations for NMC revalidation.
