In our November session, led by Dr Calisha Allen, Public Health Specialty Registrar, Academic Clinical Fellow, we will explore health literacy and numeracy, the findings of the 2024 EPIC study which explored the accuracy of healthcare professionals’ estimations of patients’ health literacy and numeracy at the Whittington Hospital and the role of health literacy and numeracy in primary care. We will explore how this impacts on our patients and how we can support patients in the community.
