LTC Update Webinar: Adult Asthma

This session is aimed at anyone in NCL involved in adult asthma care in primary care.

This session will cover:

  • When to suspect and how to diagnose Asthma

  • NCL asthma pathways

  • The successful Asthma review 

  • Greener prescribing in asthma and how to choose from different inhaler devices

  • When to refer to secondary care 

  • Exacerbation management 

  • Cross over patients ( COPD + Asthma)

  • Support for primary care across NCL for Asthma care

Background:

NCL Training Hub is coordinating with local consultants, primary care leads, specialist nurses and public health to arrange a series of webinars to provide updates on guidance, pathways and resources to support good care for the conditions within the LTC LCS programme. Events are open to anyone across NCL delivering care for patients with long term conditions. All presenters are keen to address learning needs across the patch.
