Stop Smoking Practitioner Training (Level 2)

This intensive one-day training equips you with the skills and accreditation to provide effective one-to-one stop smoking support within your pharmacy or GP practice.

For staff who intend to start work as Level 2 stop smoking advisors.

• Become fully accredited stop smoking practitioner to provide one-to-one stop smoking support

• Intensive one-day training with role play, practice, and assessment

• Behavioural support techniques in practice, use of quit aids like nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) and e-cigarettes, carbon monoxide monitoring

Your pharmacy or GP practice must be signed up to the stop smoking locally commissioned service (with Camden Health and Wellbeing department or Islington Public Health).

Before attending this training, all delegates need to complete the NCSCT stop smoking practitioner training (https://elearning.ncsct.co.uk) and send their assessment certificate to: breathe.team@nhs.net
