Applications to become a Queens Nurse are now open

Queens Nursing Institute: Become a Queens Nurse:  

 We are delighted to announce that the applications for the Queen’s Nurse title are now open! 

General criteria required to apply for the Queen’s Nurse title: 
 
 Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (please make sure your NMC record is up to date) 
 Minimum of five consecutive years in a community or primary care setting including education 
 Currently working in England, Wales or Northern Ireland with people in their own homes or other community-based settings 
 Must have support from your direct line manager who has managed you for at least six months or a senior colleague at the same seniority as the current line manager 
 Must have support from your professional/clinical lead who has worked with you for at least six months 
 Must not be under any investigation by the employing organisation or NMC. 
 
How to apply 
 
To start the application process, please request a Unique Reference Number (URN) by 12 pm on 3 April 2024.
