Congratulations to all the nominees and winners at the NCL Training Hub’s Valued Awards. The awards recognise people and organisations that have put in place initiatives that support staff to thrive in the workplace. Staff were invited to nominate colleagues and teams who have made a real difference in five categories.
The awards are open to all primary care teams working across NCL, including those working in GP surgeries, community pharmacies and NHS funded dental and optometry sites as well as care and nursing homes in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington.
The awards breakfast was held on 27th September at Regents University. Speakers included Professor Jill Maben MBE, University of Surrey, Dr Rachel Roberts, NHS England, Michelle Johnson, North Central London ICB, Natalie Moyanah, NHS England, Dr Sarah Morgan and Michael Fox, NCL Training Hub. Over 70 nominees and their teams joined the celebration.
Winners included:
· Inclusivity: Edgware Walk in centre team
· Service Delivery: Brunswick Park Medical Centre
· Education: Prescribing Clerk Programme team for Non Clinical Staff, Barnet Training Hub
· Health and Wellbeing: Dr Kubiangha and team, River Place Group Practice
· Leadership: Pradeep D'Cruz, Carlton Court Care Home
Winners, runners up and highly commended nominees all received gifts to enjoy with their teams. We are delighted that so many people and organisations were nominated for awards this year and look forward to celebrating again with staff across NCL in 2024!
