EOI's Open: Host a Short-Term Placement Pharmacy Undergraduate at your NCL practice
NCL Training Hub would like to offer an opportunity to declare a non-binding expression of interest in hosting a short-term placement for King’s College London (KCL) undergraduate pharmacy students, with a view to ensuring that we develop a future workforce who understand primary care and local priorities.

The proposed format is as follows:
Student Group | Time Period | Remuneration to host site |
MPharm 3rd year students | June/July 2024 - 4-week placement period | £121.88 per student Students come in pairs for 10 days in total over two weeks. |
MPharm 4th year students | January-March 2024 - 10-week placement period | £91 per student Students come in pairs for 4 days in total – e.g. Monday and Tuesday over two weeks. |
Pre-requisites and outline of placement:
The student will require a named clinical supervisor, this can be any healthcare professional. The clinical supervisor is not expected to always supervise the student but will be responsible for ensuring that the student receives adequate supervision.
The student can shadow or participate in activities involving or supervised by any healthcare professional.
The student will be tasked with completing a workbook which will be provided by KCL. Please contact Amina Ali if you wish to see an example of the workbook provided to MPharm 4th year students.
