On 18th January 2024, NCL Training Hub hosted the Emergency Eye Care for NCL General Practices webinar in collaboration with Moorfields Eye Hospital.

This session covered:

an update on the NCL Single Point of Access (SPoA) referral pathway
how to safely and effectively assess an ophthalmic emergency
what needs to come to Eye Casualty and what needs to go to medics/stroke team
what is the remit of MECS optometrists
how a session in eye casualty is spent.
