Event recap: Overview of Childhood Immunisations
World Immunization Week 2023 - 24 to 30 April highlights the importance of vaccines and how they protect people of all ages against many diseases.
This year’s campaign 'The Big Catch-Up' recognises over two years of immunisation backsliding caused by COVID-19 pandemic disruptions and the resulting need to 'catch-up,' ensuring that more people, particularly children, are protected from preventable diseases.
Last month, NCL's Immunisation Improvement Project Managers hosted a webinar, which provided all practice staff with an overview on childhood vaccines, immunity, disease and common concerns, all with a contextual focus on NCL. You can now view a recording of the session, split into different topics, for sharing amongst NCL practice colleagues with the overall aim to encourage and increase uptake in childhood vaccination.
