NCL New to Leadership Programme - Launch Event

Have you (or someone you know) recently taken on a funded leadership role alongside a clinical role? This could be supporting a practice, PCN, an emerging neighbourhood or wider primary care community. 

Could you (or someone you know) benefit from wraparound support to complement the start of a leadership journey?  

The NCL Training Hub is offering a wide range of activities to support the navigation of a new role in the health and care system.  

• Mentoring is a free scheme, currently open to all primary care clinicians, whatever role or stage of career and offers a safe, confidential space to reflect and grow. Each mentee is paired with a trained mentor, an experienced NCL clinician who understands the realities of primary care. 

• The shadowing scheme has been developed for any individual employed within the primary care workforce across NCL (Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Islington) that would like to shadow an experienced colleague from elsewhere within the health care system.   

• Bi-monthly peer support sessions facilitated by an experienced educator to encourage sharing of best practice and provide opportunities to collectively brainstorm solutions to challenges.
