There is Still Time to Sign-up - Non-clinical Immunisation 2026 Training

Strengthen your confidence and knowledge in immunisations with our practical, interactive training sessions led by experienced Practice Nurses Breda Redmond-Hunt and Tanya Brazza.

What the training covers:
Based on the NCL Care Navigator Immunisations Programme:

  • Vaccine-preventable diseases

  • How vaccines work

  • Local coverage data

  • Immunisation processes in GP practices

  • Talking with parents: supportive language & phrases

  • NCL digital resources, posters & videos

  • When and how to signpost to nurses, clinicians & leads

  • Common concerns and practical scenarios

This training is exclusively for non clinical staff who are currently working in general practices and Primary Care Networks (PCNs) across North Central London (Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Islington) who support:

  • Care navigation

  • Call/recall

  • Parent conversations

  • Immunisation queries and booking pathways

Sessions run twice per day, morning: 10.30 am – 12 midday and afternoon:1 – 2.30pm
