Applications for Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Practice - GPN APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED
We are pleased to offer the Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Practice once again to eligible GPs and GPNs in NCL.
GPNs
There is funding available for one place in NCL on the PG Cert in Healthcare Practice.
The course helps develop systems leadership and workforce transformation skills through delivery of quality improvement projects, with a ‘subject specific’ module based on a clinical area of interest. It consists of three 20-credit modules (60 credits total), delivered over 12 months.
Eligibility criteria for GPNs:
Working at an appropriate leadership/advanced level
Be an independent prescriber
Has seen all undifferentiated illness in primary care
Has significant primary care / GP experience (to the extent of seeing the full range of GP patients independently)
No minimum timeframe from qualification

GPs
The course begins on Tuesday 1st October. The course comprises three 20 credit modules, with sessions delivered on the same day each week over 12 months during the Academic year 2024-25. There are limited places available.
Eligibility criteria for GPs:
Must be in your first 5 years after CCT
Working in an NCL practice
Available to attend the taught modules on a Tuesday from October
Practice must agree to release the fellow to attend peer support monthly
