Support for Nursing Associates or Assistant Practitioners Conversion to Registered Nursing: 2025/26 Funding

NCL Training Hub are assessing potential demand for funding to support Nursing Associates (NAs) or Assistant Practitioners (APs) conversion to Registered Nursing (RN) as part of a 2025/26 cohort.

Please note the following

• There may be an opportunity to access a limited training grant per practice/PCN of £8,000 per year pro rata to support the costs of delivering education for staff undertaking their NA/AP conversion to Registered Nursing programme (duration typically around 2 years)

• The funding is not guaranteed at this stage and is subject to confirmation

• To be eligible, the NA/AP must be enrolled on a programme within this financial year (by March 2026)
