Age Well Friend

Age Well Friend is aimed at Enfield/Haringey organisations and businesses that are willing to make a commitment to support the 50+ population in their area by implementing helpful initiatives and making changes in their organisation/business to support older people in their community. 

The pilot aims to: 

• Increase awareness about ageing, self-management, and the needs of the 50+ population. 

• Equip organisations/businesses and professionals with the knowledge and skills to better support older adults. 

• Connect participants with local resources and services. 

 Programme Goals 

• Improve the health and well-being of older adults in Haringey and Enfield. 

• Ensure older adults receive the best possible care and support from local services. 

• Align with the NHS People Plan to address the needs of our ageing population. 

Age Well Friends Pledge: 

The Age Well Friend Pledge is a way for your organisation to commit to help people aged 50+ across Enfield and Haringey. It is FREE to join and access a toolkit of resources to help your organisation.

By signing up to the Age Well Friend Pledge, your organisation is showing its commitment to your employees, colleagues and clients or customers in the 50+ age group. This way you commit to creating an inclusive environment for everyone.   

Once signed up, you will have access to our Age Well Toolkit of Resources page, where you will find resources available within your area and contacts. You can also download an Age Well Friend logo as part of the Age Well media pack and use this logo on your websites, email signatures, banners and posters for your organisation.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Age Well Friend Pledge is taking place on the 26th September 2024.
